The "60 CF WELDING CYLINDER tank bottle for Argon- 75/25- Nitrogen ISO new 10 year" is a specific type of compressed gas cylinder used in welding and related applications. Let's break down the description:

  1. 60 CF WELDING CYLINDER tank bottle: This indicates that the cylinder has a capacity of 60 cubic feet (CF) and is specifically designed for welding purposes. Welding cylinders are used to store and dispense various welding gases.

  2. for Argon- 75/25- Nitrogen: This part of the description specifies the types of gases that this cylinder can contain. It is suitable for holding and dispensing three types of gases: Argon, a common shielding gas; a 75/25 mixture, likely referring to a blend of 75% Argon and 25% Carbon Dioxide (CO2), which is commonly used in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding; and Nitrogen, which has various industrial applications, including purging and pressurizing systems.

  3. ISO new 10 year: The "ISO new" designation suggests that the cylinder is newly manufactured and meets ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards, ensuring quality and safety. Fat Tank!

I recently purchased the 60CF tank and while the advertisement indicated it was 7 inches in diameter, I assumed it was the same as all the other tanks I've used but it turns out all the other tanks were 6-1/2 inches OD and the new one did not fit the clamp on my Mig! I've since modified the clamp to accept both sizes and I'm cool with the new one.

Great cylinder for argon use

Holds my argon gas securely and lasts a long time. The 60 cf capacity is just right for my welding projects. Very satisfied with the purchase

Happy with the tank, appears good quality and arrived quickly. Iā€™m curious the dimensions of the 60CF bottle thoughā€¦.local shop only put 40CF in it so now Iā€™m wondering if I was sent the wrong tank.
