This inverter MIG welder is both MIG, and a self-shielded flux-cored welding machine. The MIG155GSV is equipped with a unique electronic reactor circuit, which can precisely control the short-circuiting transfer and mixed transfer resulting in better performance than other welders for sale. You will see the many advantages when you compare our products with silicon controlled welding machines and tapped welding. We have a stable wire feed rate; it’s portable, energy-saving, and electromagnetic noise-free. Besides, we stand by our products. They spatter less, have easier arc starting, a deep welding pool, and a high duty cycle that you will appreciate.

  • Compact – portable – very capable quality welder that can run on either 110/115 or 220/230 volts which makes this a true workhorse with a completely portable footprint. Comes complete as pictured; ready for you to start welding. AND 3 YEAR WARRANTY!
  • Working voltage: 115V/230±15%; 30 to 155 Amp welding range; In MMA mode, this welder can be used as a very nice scratch arc TIG welder with optional accessories.
  • Comfortably welds up to 1/4 in. mild steel that is properly prepared using 220 volt input, in both MIG, flux-cored and stick welding. Feeds wire at 78 in. to 396 in. per minute and has infinitely adjustable wire speed and heat settings. This welder does not use tapped controls that are found in cheaper machines!
  • This model uses an advanced compact IGBT inverter design with automatic overheat and over current welding protection.
  • The model 155 incorporates 2T/4T modes. 4T is useful if you have a long weld to do, as it saves you having to hold the trigger down the whole time. Great feature for out of position welding.

The size and versatility of this welder is just what the doctor ordered.

The mug welding is easy to use and operates smoothly I have no complaints. The stick side of the welder pose a little more of an issue forme and I attribute that to inexperience. My reflex’s aren’t so great I get the electrode stuck more than I weld. Machines fault? No, I have neuropathy and being steady is not so easy when that is firing off. I just have to figure out what works for my issues. I have not tried the gas side but I feel that it will not be an issue for the simple fact that it has worked great everytime I turn it on

WeldPro products are Amazing!

I have purchased their dual voltage MIG and their TIG machines, and both were extremely high quality products. They both have plenty of power and produce clean, penetrating welds. Also, the company's customer support is probably the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!

Very happy with purchase-easy set up and great performance

This bad boy showed up yesterday and I just so happened to have some 1/8 steel angle and plate I needed to weld up. Set up was a breeze and the instructions were fairly clear and to the point. I had an old Lotus mig 175 that performed….. ok. The thing was a beached wale so I was happy to upgrade to an inverter machine. This thing welds great right out of the box. I ran it with .30” wire and 75/25 co2. Very clean arc and the pre/post flow is a nice touch. Performed great on 110v - looking forward to trying thicker stuff on 220. My Weldpro AC/DC Tig 200 just showed up today and I’m very excited to try that out as well. This Mig is a great performer and very good value.

Seems like a versatile entry-level machine for the price and tech support experience was very good

I am a novice welder and have only used my machine a couple of times - will try to update the review when I've had more time with it. From a specs/versatility and price perspective this machine seems like it will provide good bang for the buck. The manual is not great which led to some newby mistakes on my part.Hopefully these notes will be of use to someone out there who is just starting out as well.I was setting up for gasless flux with the provided wire and was having wire feed issues.I called support and a live person answered and they were really nice and helpful. 5 stars for support - wish I got the name so I could give him props. The unit ships with two wire drive wheels - I had used the smooth one where I should have used the toothed one. Also make sure you use the right groove based on wire size. Finally, the unit ships with two springs for the wire reel - use the light one. Even that may be too much in which case you can adapt the heavy one to correct the tension - would have likely been better to just have some sort of screw tension adjustment on the unit. With the help from tech support, I think I'll be in decent shape. Overall happy with unit so far. It's lightweight and seems like it will meet my needs and have ability to learn tig as well and use 110 or 220v.

Recommend for the beginner, garage and small shop with limited space.

Actually a really good machine. I compared to the three top brands and have to say it works just as well, and is a bit less expensive. It may have a couple of less features like digital controls etc. but functionality, same weld results. 110 side works surprisingly well, and the 220 side may run a little hotter than the knob indicates but just dialed it down and no problem. It’s not going to be running pipe all day but wasn’t designed for it. Great little machine for the beginner and garage/small shop, and a nice (lite) machine to throw in the back of the truck for the small quick jobs and for 4 bills I can’t complain. I’ve spent more and had many complaints. Haven’t had to use tech support so know comment there but I guess that’s a good thing. Recommend for the beginner, garage and small shop with limited space.
