For the money, it keeps my rod nice and hot. If you do not want to spend the money on a larger unit. So, I can make those nice looking weld beads. Also, hot rod helps keeps electrods from sticking on start up. They light right up. It stands up right, so it easy to find a place to put it . Good rod capacity. Outside of oven does not get overly hot. Dial could use some improvements. But it is OK, if you no what your doing. A smart choice for the small time welder.

The oven is pretty large for the price and does the job presumably. There is a notch at the 6 oclock point on this oven that is very hard to see if you didnt know it was there. Assuming thats where you set your temp to, its very hard to see the numbers and notch as they are upside down. it makes me wonder if thats actually the real temperature in the oven. if someone knows something i dont, please let me know!
